Hard times, adverse weather ... by Christian COULOMBE

After the heavy rains last week, the lagoon is still very muddy ...
I made just a few shots last Sunday as we vent to check the uw-visibility.
For the rest, better go for sunset shoots and wait ;)

Challenge of the week-end : Art underwater by Christian COULOMBE

A mobile ... Not a telephone you know, these things that move with the wind in a delicate balance.
The challenge was to put one - a big one, 2 meters large - underwater.
The artist who made it is Océ, and Engeco sponsored the construction out of roof steel plate and profile.
We fixed it on a wreck, 8 meters deep, so it has no incidence on marine life.
Some friends free-divers came this morning for a shooting with this ephemeral piece of art, just for pleasure.

A Red Parachute ! With Nanihi by Christian COULOMBE

That was on Friday, time is running so fast ...
This beautiful parachute is a real one, it was used in Algeria by French military in the 60's.
It's the third time I use it underwater. The difficulty is to maintain it on an elegant position while it inflates with the current.
That was the first time Nanihi ever model ! First time underwater is a double challenge !
I must admit she fulfilled it with brio.

Shooting with Marie yesterday by Christian COULOMBE

Marie among the sharks, above the wrecks and the divers ...
Lot of fun for this shooting, Marie is a tiny little goblin taking up unexpected poses underwater, the result is impressive !
